Woodys slogan is ‘A Brand Made for Unique People’. They are designed in Barcelona and manufactured in Spain. Woodys designs frames with high quality standards and with an incredible attention to detail to achieve exclusive pieces.

Woodys Barcelona was born with a clear vocation to be a unique brand of glasses different from all other existing brands. And we have achieved just this by designing, producing and marketing our products. The first glasses were made from a recycled skateboard. We used the leftover materials to make our first pair of glasses. It was a success. Later on we expanded our products, making wooden glasses, using wood from sustainable sources like bamboo or pear. We managed to offer our customers a completely different and well-designed product using a highly valued and unique material.

Today, what began as a dream has become a solid company present in more than 52 countries around the world. Our glasses have matured with us. We have explored new terrains, used new materials including acetate and titanium and perfected the manufacturing process to become a world-renowned style and fashion benchmark.

Now, we can now offer our customers what they expect from us: unique, authentic and sophisticated design frames.

All our frames are created with over 100 delicate steps. The first step is choosing the acetates, most of which are customized. Once chosen and created, the front pieces are cut using a high-tech CNC machine.

Our frames are baked in the oven for 2 weeks, a technique imported from Japan for greater resistance and flexibility. The frames are then carefully assembled and checked through a series of quality controls. Each frame is then carefully polished by hand.

Since 2016, we received major recognition from institutions and various private companies, as the best young start-up of the year. These awards gave us the opportunity to make ourselves known and place Woodys in the mind of the consumer as a young glasses brand with a promising future.
